we just figured out what it is. The fish has a big gash in it's head, must of been like that before we brought him home. It looks to be healing and that is what the white was. Don't know how in the world it got a gash like that and lived.:notsure:

This is the set up i have in my 30 gal fish tank. 8 pounds of live rock now live sand bed, double filter that hangs on the back, not a bio wheel, 1200 power head, therometer. 1 clownfish, wrassee, and bi color angel. going to add more live rock soon. Just wondering if i need a better filter...

My clownfish has a white dot on his head. He has been swimming in one spot at the bottom of the tank. All water levels are good, and salinity is good water temp is at 79. I don't think the clown is really eating, he is new to the tank, 3 days ago. This is the only white dot on him.

twice a day, the nitrites are at .5 again, the clownfish is laying in the corner of the tank right now ntrates are just a little high. the tank has been running for 3 months now, the levels were great a couple days ago.
