    puffer question

There are a bunch that would work in that size tank, valentini, saddle, the blue dot, honeycomb, and the spotted puffer. Unfortunately the porcupine puffer gets just too big, over a foot, for a 55 gal. This does all depend on the other residents of your tank, but size wise all of these will work.

    Chilling your tank

I used to do this for my freshwater tank....floating bags of ice, it works well, and lowers the temp slowly. With my saltwater tank I have found that just the addition of a fan on my sump keeps my temp steady. Of course this all depends on the size of your system and sump. let us know how it works

Thanks I will be picking up some WeldOn and I have been reading other articles about how to use it. Do you recomend the soak method or just the "paint and stick" method? ps I know there is more to it than paint and stick however to keep it simple yada yada yada.
