My tank just finished cycling and I performed the water change... I was wondering can I put the cleaner clam in there first while I am getting all the rest of the inverts!?

So i am restarting my tank... since the last time the tank was setup it still had most of the live sand and some of my LR still in there... but i did previously take the water out and refilled it w regular water w/o salt in it... and it was sitting like that no pumps or anything running for...

Do fire fish sift sand?... i just for the first time c my fire fish buggin out... keeps going down pickin up some sand and coming back up reall quick as if it was a scooter blenny sifting sand or somthing... weird.. are they known to do that?

if my nitrites are 0 why am i geting high nitrates?... i mean if i am not mistaken.... amonia causes nitrites which cause nitrates correct?.... and i got a skimmer now for the amonia.. and my nitrites are 0.. but my nitrates are constantly high! like 40 or up!

My hippo dose not have ic.. but it is really pale! its been acting weird for the past few days.. i thought it had ich first.. but now i m sure it isnt... wonder whats wrong with it

how quickly cana fish get ich.. in a tank which never had any?

one of my PH fell in the sand distrubted the wholw sand bed on my side of the tank.. and it is now not working.... i have aproximatly 7 to 8x turn over rate rite now is it enough for my tank.. and distrubting the sand bed will it cause any spikes?

how quickly can a fish get ich? i saw my hippo yest she was good today i saw some white spots on her... i m thinking its cuz she squizes herself in the rock and migh of gotten a litle sumthing on her... and she loves geting scratched by the shrimp all the time...btw my skimmer is letting some...

Can not changing your filter media creat a nitrate problem? if soo i got a busy day tom!!! i did a water change last week.. my nitrates are still high...i m gona prepare more water for another change but i think i have to wait cuz i have my skimmer on now and it should help.. and also i never...

i just got mine today... i was thinking can i make a hole in the colelction cup to add pipe and run it to a bottle or something so i wont have to clean my colelction cup daily?
