the PH is 8.0 or 8.2 KH is 15 no amonia every thing looks fine but the nitriite I even check the water in my 120 to make sure the test is working right and the reef tank was 0 nitrite but my 180 nope and this tank is over six months old.

has anyone thought abought Diatom filters with charge? this filter works great in 2 and 3 stage of the ick life cycle it catches it and you dump it. I have a 180 and a120 and fought with ick as long as I remember till I got this micro filter. I hope this helps in some way

ok buddy I had those too I used algone and a fox face buy a fox face fish. spend the money get a good size that is storng and your problem will go away.:jumping:

ok guys I had the same problem but I used this product it was called Algone my tank is clear I cant say the websites here os figure it out but ti works great and even better when you have a Kole tang. give it two to three weeks and see the differance.
