    Moving-All Must Go! (N. CA)

Located near Shasta Lake. Taking down a 29 gallon reef tank with 2 large cleaner shrimp (both carrying eggs), a pair of mated Tomato Clowns (LFS sold them as mated pair but they haven't mated since I've had them!), several hermits and some snails. If it lives inside this tank, it must find a...

Help!! Is it dying or reproducing??

Wow, this morning I looked in on my tank and.....the bubble coral has decided to look normal again. No sign of "chicken legs" sticking out. No sign that it even cared that I was worried sick that I had killed it or something and no sign of tiny white bubble sacs. Nobody warned me that I...

    Mushroom HELP PLEASE

There is an excellent post by oceana about fragging mushrooms. It has wonderful instructions and photos. You can probably find it by searching her posts or entering a search for "frag" or "mushroom".

Help!! Is it dying or reproducing??

This morning it is down to one "chicken leg". At the base of the stalk, right at the opening of the mouth was what appears to be 2 small, miniature bubble colonies. I will prepare a frag cup as described by oceana (what great instructions and pictures!) to see if the little white things are...

lets see those pairs of clowns with there hosts

At first the gonipora didn't appreciate the "affection" shown by the clown. After a couple of days, it returned to normal. I'm glad the clown found a host, I refuse to get an anemone....

    Bubble not oppening

I would like to hear if anyone has had their bubble coral kill a fish. I had 2 Percula Clowns for some time and my hubby bought me a bubble coral and a gonipora for my b-day on Friday. I came home from work, checked my tank, and now no clowns. My only other critters are 5 small zebra...

    Hitchhiker Identifications

Thanks to everyone for their photos and information! This newbie appreciates it. I thought I had some free polyps, but alas, they are anemones. :scared: Now, how do you get rid of unwanted hitchhikers? My turbo has barnicles and my live rock has the anemones. I read in a book that...
