Sorry if i am anoying anyone, i am just new to this and a bit jumpy, i've had my fish in the tank a day or so and i decided to test my levels 24 hours after i added them to the tank, and my amonia level is almost a dark green, so its kinda high, what causes it and what should i do? thanks agian

Is it advisable to mix crushed coral with live sand? I have already put crushed coral asa substrate in my tank then someone advised me i should get live sand to help with the cylcing process? is it possible to mxit he sand with the coral? or should i just get rid of the crushed coral?
