Anyone know what would cause a xenia to shrivel and seemingly start to die? I noticed this more after I added my colt coral (4 weeks ago), but everything else seems fine (except my green star polyps, which haven't popped out in about a week... 2 weeks after adding the colt) My green hammers...

is it normal for new xenia to sorta shrivel, and appear limp? I just placed it in today, and a few "hands" are slightly grabbing, but the majority are shrivled and drawn in tight and seem to be limp.... any idea? Is this normal?

Ok, I was going to do the cycle start with a raw shrimp to spike the ammonia to 1.0 and the let it go... I bought a test kit, and tested to see the levels prior to inserting the shrimp and the ammonia level is already at 1.0 maybe even 1.5... so what's that mean? I've already got 5 lbs of live...

To do the cycle start... is it a fresh peeled shrimp or a pink (cooked) peeled shrimp....? And the whole thin in a 15 gal or just half?
