    DT's vs Marine Snow?

I've also heard that the directions on DT's tell you to use too much. My LFS guy said that the dose is fine but don't do it every other day like it says. 1-2 times a week max

    Is this growth? [Picture Included]

Actually, I havn't been feeding it anything directly. I have a good amount of filter feeders so I use lots of PhytoPlex in the tank. Also, it might catch the occasional mysis shrimp when I feed the fish. I use Kent's Nano Reef pack 1-2 times a week. My clownfish also sleeps in it at night but...

    Is this growth? [Picture Included]

Is my open brain coral growing? I thought they divide when they grow? The first picture is fully opened when I first got it. About 1 month ago. The second picture is fully opened today.

    Xenia Growth

It's in a 30 gallon tank. The lighting is 2 x 70 MH in the last two pictures and 65 watts PC and 75 watts VHO in the first two. It really took off after the MH upgrade. I also use Kent's Nano Reef 2 part deal. The netting rubber banded to the rock is a frag. It works really well. It takes...

What kind of fish is this?

Aparently they range mostly from 12 - 18 inches and their meat is supposed to taste like lobster.

What kind of fish is this?

Thanks for the name. Definately a sand tilefish. I've been looking around and aparently they thrive in very deep water (500 feet). But I caught mine in 50 ft. Maybe the sand version goes shallower? I wish I would have kept one, apparently they are really good eating.

What kind of fish is this?

I caught this on a reef off the coast of South Florida today and have no idea what it is. I've looked all over the internet and havn't been able to find anything. Does anyone know what this is?

    24 inch on 30 unch

Depends how deep the tank is. 130 watts of PC is pretty good, I'd say you'd be able to keep anything that doesn't have "high" lighting requirements. No clams or anemones, but neither of them are corals so...

    Radiata Lionfish

Live fish are fine but it may not eat them at first. It will eat freshwater ghost shrimp though. On a side note, the shrimp can stay alive in the bag for much longer than I had thought. About 2 weeks. If not eaten they can survive for about 2-3 days in the tank.

    Snowflake eel and his friends?

Anything bigger than the SFE's mouth and small enough to fit in 55 gallons. Bigger clowns and damsels are what I've seen kept with a SFE. You could probably do a lionfish or an angler, but then you couldn't keep the clowns or damsels. In any case, if you keep the eel well fed, it will be less...

    id please

We can't post links but here is what another site had to say on the subject: Anemonia majano These are the prettier of the two common pest anemones. I have seen specimens in green, red, and even a striking yellow. They are somewhat less of a nuisance than Aiptasia, partially because they are...
