    Need to get more opinions on mixing clowns

    I mixed four black and white perculas with three false perculas about 2 years ago and the black and whites dominated the false perculas and took over two of my anemones. They all get "along" but I feel bad for my false perculas since they don't have an anemone to co-exist with.

    powercompact lighting?

    Just my two cents, you need to slow down and do a lot of research before you try to turn your tank into a reef tank. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this website when I started and my tank crashed and a lot of fish perished due to my lack of knowledge and patience. Good Luck!

    plastic canopy

    I grew up in Kaimuki until I was 12 and then my family moved to the Mainland. I got plenty of family in Hawaii and we all stay in touch. I just upgraded my lights last week, got a 60" Outer Orbit, 2 x 150w, 2 x 130 Actinic and lunar lights and I'm plenty happy with the setup.

    With sewage spilling in the Ala Wai, I would be careful on where you're getting your sand from. If you go to the North shore, you should be good. After your done, post a pic of your tank.

    Acclimation mistake

    Thanks for the reply, I have a 100 gallon tank and the "clawless" one is on one side of the tank the other one is on the other side. It's been 3 days and so far they're making peace.
