how many clowns should i get in my 70g tank???

The biggest clown is the female, the secodn largest is the male. The rest that are small and all about the same size or juvis. IF you got two males, they would figure out who should be the female by a series of dances and aggrssion acts.

Anyone successfully kept a ritteri let me know

I have. It was in my 150 gallon tank with 2x250 watt MH fixtures. Bulb combo was 6500 Kelvin and 10000 Kelvin. Kept my nitrates at 0, ammonia 0 etc. The secret about keeping any anemone is stability, strong light, strong indrirect flow( in your case) and great water quality. Buy the anemone in...

Skip the sebae. Stick with a BTA as your learning anemone. They aren't easy to care for but are the most forgiving out of the clownanemones.

All clowns don't have an acclimation process. Like I said my clarkiis dove right into my Bluecarpet as soon as I put them in my tank. Put a big grouper in your tank and that will get your clownfish to host.

Going from that picture it looks horrible. Your nitrates are high and you have a really small cleanup crew. Why is this in the "Reef Tanks" forum and not in the "Anemones and Clownfish" forum? You will get more members there more dedicated to anemones and clownfish Give it some time and see if...
