I would recommend running a skimmer.. I didnt have one on my last tank and it was fine. I did alot of water changes to keep my numbers in a good range... On my new tank I put a skimmer. And All I have to say I would not have a tank without one. My skimmer removes all kinds of nasty stuff.

Yes the corals look healthy. As far as growing they are about the same size since I have had them... About 3 months... My hammer and bubble will take little pieces of food... They look like they grab it and move it towards the center like they are eating.. I dont do anything for the mushrooms...

Hello Everyone... I have a 65 gallon tank with a return pump at 800gph, 2- Koralia number 3 flow at 850, and a Koralia number 1 flow at 400gph.. SO 800+850+850+400 gives you =2900gph... 2900/65= 44x turnover rate... But I still get waste and nasty stuff building up on my rocks... Every 2-4 weeks...
