    You should do research on the distilled water you buy. The way most companys catch and cool the steam during the distilling process is by using a typical cooler made out of a long spiral shaped piece of copper tubing. Water distilled using copper is fatal to the invertebrates in our aquariums.

    How do the corals die? Do they bleach first? Maybe your placing the corals to high in the tank.
