I am getting a fully set up 65g reef tank. It already has corals, fish, 35lbs of LR and some LS. I want to add more LR and LS. Will this be ok? I ordered 50lbs from this site a month ago and it has been in a 29g curing. Wll this cause any problems if I add that too the reef tank?
thx

Honestly i think that the samd might be ok, as for rock...hmmmm.. if it is like already cured then you might have a small increase in trates. But i think that is all...you should be safe as long as the rock is cured as stated...

if it has been in tank for a month and had good flow it should be cured...take the rock out and smell it. seriously... if it smells dead or rotting it is not cured. if it smells like the ocean go for it!

If I were you I'd test the water of the curing tank. If it has nitrates and ammonia that's because the rock isn't cured because of the die off during shipping, same deal with anything "live" thats shipped. Do some 100% water changes and it should be ok after a week since its precurred. Once your done recurring you can add the live rock and sand. For the sand turn of your powerheads and add in small ammounts so you don't make it cloudy. Even if you do it should settle pretty fast depending on how fine the sand is.
