I only had luck using those little nudi branch things. When I threw them in the tank I was thinking that there is no way they can chow on all those aptasias, but they did. All but the very biggest ones went bye bye. 30 bucks for 2 at my LFS. They reproduce like crazy, but so far have not...

I had the best luck with those nudi branch critters. I tried many things; peppermint shrimp, kalkwasser paste, hot water, lemon juice, and cursing at them.

I have read that clowns do best in established tanks. Like about 6 months old. Good luck! They are the best fish to keep in my opinion......

I think the JBJ is dreamy. I'm close to pulling the trigger on one. DiMartini has warned us that we should budget for a chiller; which I'm comfortable with. Nice thread with some good points! PTL

I have a yellow and a naso in my 75 gallon. They have lived together for years. I got the yellow tang when he was small and has grown considerably. The naso has stayed the same size. I'm a no nothing amatuer, though.

I'm looking at the nanos right now. What about the new JBJ 28 gallon HQI Halide tank? It seems the best to me. I like the closed up canopy so my room will stay darker at night. Light bleeding out of the canopy and lighting up the room is a bummer for me......I'm a little concerned about the...

It almost 2 feet front to back. I really like that dimension to be deep. You're right though; it does look small for a 75.

The Naso and Yellow Tangs have been tank mates for over 3 years. They seem ok together......and I lucked out and my flame does not chow on of the corals.
