My tank has matured to the point where my SPS meet my Zoa's, what should I do? Who will win if I do nothing?

There seems to be a belief in the Saltwater Community that weekly water changes are mandatory, I do not believe this to be true. I run my 90 GL tank by replacing evaporated water only. Are there others who do this? The only water that comes out of my tank evaporates or passes thru the skimmer.

I'm not sure how this plant made it into my tank, but does anyone know what it is ? The fish nibble at it, but it grows faster then they eat it.

Does anyone else do this ? Once a week, I take the powerhead off the wall and manually blast my rocks. It removes a lot of debris, and clears back up in about 15 minutes. The tank looks great, and the corals seem pleased after the event.
