I got this from a co-worker who thought it might be dead. I have had it several months and is doing great but I dont know what type of coral it is. Its a greenish yellow color with small polyps that come out of it, but not when I'm touching it
I need to order a new 250 watt single ended m.h. and was wondering what brand is the best choice. They all seem pretty close in price: coralife, coralvue, xm, aqualine, hamilton, iwasaki, radium, ushio.

how do I remove a frag (sps) off a plug? It keeps getting nocked over and I want to glue it to a rock. Do I just take it off by scraping under it with a razor? (between base and plug)

I thought I would start a thread on my plywood tank build. It will measure 72*48*18 and will be an in wall design, which is why i went with plywood.
Bought 4 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood. Cut it to size, filled any imperfections with wood putty and then sanded, did this 3 times on each peace...

Im going to build a in wall tank (in the basement). it will be made of plywood, fiberglass, and epoxy paint, with a glass front. It will be 5' long x 4' wide x 18" tall for a total of 224 gallons. I will use my 90 gal tank i have for a sump/ fuge. The top of the tank will be about 5 to 5 1/2...
