I've read everthing on this section on setting up a qt, but I have a question. To cycle the tank, it was suggested to put a shrimp and wait for it to get fuzzy. Are we talking about the little shrimp you put on your salad? How long does it take before you can introduce fish?

We checked our water stats. Amonia is fine, nitrites are .5. The book recommends to add stresszyme. What do you think? We buy our water at the LFS. (we live in calif., 45 min from the ocean) Thanks in advance.

We saw a decorator crab at the Monterey Bay Aquarium this past week. They're great! SWF offers them for 9.99. What kind of an addition are they to a home tank, and what would they decorate themselves if I have no corals, only rock? Also, I already have a cleaner shrimp and 3 hermit crabs...

We just ordered our first fish online. We read the acclimation procedures, but is it posssible to get 6-8 drops per second? Fish will arrive tomorrow, we have the bucket and the tubing ready. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
