    It has carbon I posted earlier it was cloudy due to things getting stirred up from a water change I had done a few minutes prior :) it has dual rotating water deflectors on an alternating timer :)

    I know flower lol placing as in placing it in my aquarium, I had one in my ten that did well that I rehomed when I started my new tank, it did well under less intense lighting in my ten, clowns even hosted it quickly. I know they move to where they want,hence placing it before corals ;)

    Not sure what im stocking yet, prob just a few softies and maybe an lps or two, I also plan on a bubbletip after a while,I won't have either for a while especially since I plan on placing the anemone first.

    Its a 28 gallon nano cube. Turned out its a very nice AIO system :)

    Hey y'all been away a bit but back with a new build. Its a jbj cf quad 105w with 27 lbs dry rock and 5 of live rock, hydor rotating deflectors and an added hydor koralia,30 lbs live sand(20 white 10 sam.pink) and a reef octopus ns-80 protein skimmer. Of course my two original ocellaris clowns...

    Added some new rock decor and took out an obstructive decor item also added a hydor nano 240 circulator makes a really nice current and surface movement perked the tank up! Tests have been good including a really good sample test at my buddies work at his water dept. Soooo....awesome.

    Its actually just a plastic hood with a partial cover over the light, the back is fairly open and I drilled the front out to help with the venting. No problems so far,however thanks for everyone's info always helpful!

    Got a new hood equipped with a reef sun 50/50 zoo med bulb to make my green Florida Ricordea comfortable.

    So I did a 10% water change today just to freshen it up a bit, tank reads are good A.M. and P.M. :)

    Nano Tanks - A list of questions

    Hi im new here myself and for what it's worth I put together my own set up with a standard 10 gal.a fluval power filter doing 150 gph, 20 lbs.live sand, a small LED (white) and a larger LED bar (white/blue;moonlight too) and 2 boxes of prebagged pacific saltwater. I have 2 blue leg hermit crabs...

    Just added an LED light bar with a blue/white setting for daytime with 2 smaller LEDs in the hood and a moonlight setting for night!

    Its a simple 10 gal. With 20 lbs live sand and fake coral inserts and filled with premade pacific ocean water. It has a fluval powerfilter at 150 gph. I have a ocellaris clown fish and 2 blue leg hermit crabs. Thanks for replying!
