    Aquapod w/ hood?

    The ballasts in the AP are rated for 40 Watts. They come with 32 Watt bulbs. You will have to add a fan under the hood (there's an empty spot for it). You will have to unscrew one side of the ballast because the bulbs are a little longer. I understand your need for a hood. I have a 2 year old.

    I had this problem in the fall. I tried: Total Black-out suction the stuff off every day changed bulbs 40 or so Narsissus snails bunch of Hermit crabs Sally light foot crab None of that worked! Finally Erythromycin. It killed off a lot of coraline algae...but it finally got rid of all that...
