They like low flow/light. I have mine shaded under a rock in a low flow area.

Hello, I'm adding a HOB fuge to my year old established tank. Would there be a problem adding sand to the fuge when I put it on? It wouldn't start another mini cycle would it? Thanks all for the help. B

We just got back from Belize. We stayed on one of the islands near the reef. Beautiful place. Very slow pace and relaxing. There is hiking and ruins on the mainland. Not very touristy. We saw very few people at the hotel we stayed at. Snorkeling was amazing. B

Sorry to hear that it's picking at your corals. My Bi-color does the same thing. It's picked at a Long tenticle Plate and an open brain. Pretty much killed them both. it's also picked at a toad stool and rics. I've got to keep mine very well fed. I feed every day. I hope that helps. B

You should have 2 black sponges that go in your return chambers. They are about 6 inches long and made up of the same stuff in your filter box. Those are for reducing the trickle noise and the micro bubbles. Try adjusting those untill you have no more noise. I needed to move those around in...
