Thanx again. I realize I do have a nutrient rich problem. As you can see by my spaghetti worms. Just another quick ID question. This is a Colt tree right?

    ID two corals please :)

Very cool. Thank you very much. Not to be stupid, but is it common for sponges in people's tanks to get so large? I guess I haven't seen to many people "showing off" their sponges. lol Of course I realize they get huge in the wild.

The corals to the left are snake polyps. There pretty cool. Does Majano anemone glow under actinic lights? These do.

    ID two corals please :)

Both corals are in the middle of the pictures. The branching white one and the green one. Both were hitchhikers. The white one might be a sponge. Thanx! Of course if needed I can easily take more pics.

    Type of Goby?

I just received a large order from this site, which I am very pleased. One fish I ordered was a Shrimpgoby - Banded. What I received wasn't what I anticipated. It's huge. About 5.25 inches and not very pink. Looks more like a sleeper goby. What do people think? How big are they suppose to get?

    Please ID :)

What are the little tube shaped white things next to the snail? They are easily moveable and everywhere. There are four next to the snail. They are not attach to each other or anything else for that matter. What are the long white things with thin feather like tops to them? They don't move. The...

    Quick Lighting question

I didn't realize T6 lighting is obsolete. I thought they were the newist thing. Silly me. It's hard to search T6 lighting on this forum because "t6" isn't enough letters. Guessing the Nova T5 Retrofit 28 watts are not very good because there is no reflector. Even though they are only about 20...

    Quick Lighting question

Any comments on these lights: Catfish Lighting 54 Watt High Output T6 Retro-Fit Fluorescent Light Strips. They can come with either 12K Full day bulb or Blue Actinic Moon Bulb. I'm only looking to keep basic corals ( no clams or anemones ). I have a 55 gal. I can fit 4 or 5 lights so 216 - 270...

    Little white things

Here are the best I could get of them. The ones with the black arrows are the bigger of the two types of "little white bugs" the other is about 1/4 that size and move much quickier. I except they are some sort of pods. Just want to show how small they are. I also took a pic of what I think is...

    Little white things

No these things are smaller. Maybe nymphs of what your showing me? I will try to take a picture tomorrow. Left my camera at work. They move pretty fast. Theres a lot of them. Stay around the algae on the side of the tank.

    Little white things

These things are small about the size of a period but more oval like an ant. So smaller then what you are pointing to. More like whats in front of what you are pointing to. Thankx.

    Little white things

I wish I could take a picture of these things but they are just to small. I have these very small little white creatures running all over the sides of my 55 gal. Kind of look like sugar ants, but smaller. Any idea what they could be and how I could ID them? Thankx. Love this board.

If I buy a few Porcelain Crabs for my 55 gal/fish only tank. Would I need to feed them Marine Snow or would they be fine without it? Thankx.
