    I've been checking different sites for mh, can anyone tell me what's the intials following the kevin mean, for example 250w 14k HQI or FC2 and SE. The only thing I notice is a big price difference.

    I went from a 55 gal to a 210 gal (it was a deal i could not pass up)and what i found was that with good equiupment your work is cut in half. you still have to clean your glass every other day but water changes are much much less and because of the evap it seems like i was topping off everyday...

    If you check out the new hobbyist section there is endlist info on getting started in this addictive hobby. Read, read, and read some more let your brain be a sponge and soak up all the info possible and you will do just fine.
