I have two power heads in my tank that can only be mounted using the suction cups. My tank has a lip on it that does not allow me to hang them by the overhang mount. For some reason (Due to algae or whatever) the suction cups will eventually fall of the glass wall of my tank and the powerhead...

I'm very happy with mine also. It seems to pull a bunch of sludge from my tank. My fish are happy so all is well.

I have this brown stuff forming on my live rock and lace rock and on my substrate. I 'm pretty sure it's algae of some sort but I was just wondering if anyone could tell me for sure. My tank is newly cycled and I'm hesitant on putting new fish in untill I'm sure what this stuff is. Everything...

I just bought a Red Sea Berlin Skimmer (classic) And now I have a dumb question. Do I really need a sump for this or can I use it some other way. I just want to do it cheaply and I'm still a little confused on the whole sump dea.

Can they coexist? I have three Domino Damsels in a newly cycled 75 gallon tank (I bought them to help cycle). I was wondering if I could put a clown or two in with them and maybe a anemome.

How long will it take for Live rock to seed Lace Rock? I have avbout 30 lbs of live rock and 30 lbs of Lace rock in my 75 gallon tank and was just wondering when it might be safe to assume there will be life on the Lace rock. Thanks
