I have been scraping coraline algea off of my glass for a few weeks and it keeps coming back. I have been doing RODI water changes weekly. I know coraline algea is good but this is way to much of it. What can I do to slow it down?

A LFS told me that I should be running my fuge light 24x7. Right now I am running it on opposite light cycle of my tank. I read on here that you can do it either way. Is there advantage to running your lights for 24 hours? thanks
