    maintaining anemone

This is going to be interesting. I started with 3 anemone. I noticed that they werent looking so good recently. Two reasons for this. First, the water got a lil on the warm side, which I have remedied this. Turning the air conditioner to around 78 all day long instead of turning it off...

    feeding anenomes

It may do what you say after its done eating since that is the only hole they have to do anything with, so everything has to pass through it. food and excretion of processed food.

Oh NO, can this be true??????????

This prolly wont help whith the "makin whooopie" question, but to keep them from fighting at least, I would suggest an anemone. This will calm them or at least one of them down depending on who finds it and how many you get for the tank as well. This may not have anything to do with mating...

    maroon vs sergant major?

If you can get the clow an anemone, the clown then can seek refuge within it. I had a similar problem with a maroon clown and a black/white stripe clarkie. Now the maroon after being picked pn was able to seek refuge and now he has gained his confidence back. Prolly too much actually seeing...

    blue tipped Anemone

My clowns took less than a week to find themselves their anemone in the tank. Though I heard it can take up to a month. At one of the LFS's I was told you can get a Turkey baster and suck up some food and try to coax the clown to the anemone. Now whether this works, is beyond me since I...

    water change

I would only imagine having to do a 100% water change if something has totally went wrong. 10-15% water change should do just perfectly. :-)

    ph and nitrate levels

I use the tetra test kit. I have also used my friend's though I forget what brand he has. The tap comes out to 7.2 - 7.4, which isnt bad. Though getting an R/O unit doesnt sound half bad for one. Also when I do test, its around 8 o clock at night.

    ph and nitrate levels

The nitrates are near 0, not to worried bout that. I am going to get that down, though the pH is near 8.6. I think that is high, though water changes havent been doign all that much to bring it down. I have been wondering if it was something in my water. I have been toying between either...

    upgraded my server

It seems nice when coming in from a T3, though it may still be too intensive for those on cable or even dial up still. Curious though, what type of pipe is your server on and what type of server are you running, as well as web server and a db?

    lighting components

Boy do I have an interesting one. I bought a tank from someone, but rather than buying one for a little more and a lot better quality ...... ugh. Anyways, I purchased a 120 gal tank from someone and set it up, though when I started working with the lights, I noticed that one of the hoods wasnt...

    Moving Soon HELP!!

From what I can see is that there is not any more possible suggestions. Just be sure that you try to keep as much water as possible as well as making sure you dont mix rock with the fish or inverts as well as keeping heaters in with the fish and if they will be out of the tank for a while, you...

    New Tank

Thanks for the helpful response. I have a 120gal tank, so I may need quite a bit of sand, though I know I can start small. I received like 50 lbs of rock from the guy so I am pretty good there though I am trading some with my friend that has a tank already set up with some cured live rock. I...

    New Tank

I am setting up a tank that I bought off of someone. He had live rock, which now is dry. Is there any special treatment I have to put the rck through at the beginning. Or can I just put them in the take as I wish and get the filters running as well as the two power jets that I will be...

    Sharks

Is there a type of shark that you can get that you will not have to worry bout it eating other fish? Other than trying to remedy this by possibly larger fish than the shark?
