People are always talking about 10% or 20% water changes. Are you ever suppose to do a 100% water change?

I would only imagine having to do a 100% water change if something has totally went wrong. 10-15% water change should do just perfectly.

my guess is that doing a 100% water change you may have to re-acclimate your stock.10-15%is good about every 1-2weeks depending on the bio load and no worries about stressing fish <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

100 would really be more of a harm than a help---even if your water is way whacked I wouldn't push past 70%.
