as far as my power compact goes, i customized a retro fit style that i found, it measures 17 1/2 inches, then made a top that fits perfect on the top, with my cpr backpack. a must have with this set up is a fan. so any suggestions about water temp, i think that could be the problem, but still...

temp is 78degrees, and i'm running a CPR backpack. my hammer, polyps,ultra maxima clam, metallic mushrooms, and all snails are fine. so i'm not sure what happened.

these are brand new lights, about one month old, everything was doing fine, then last night it just fell apart, donno. it's letting off something from the ends of the coral, it looks to be deflating. postion hasn't changed, so i'm not convinced it's the lights.

If you don't know about hyposalinity do a search on this message board and study up. Its a lifesaver for your fish. :D

He's actually not the only one that has it. All of your fish are hosts to this parasite. Treat immediatly with the method that suits your tank if you want to save them.

I've got two damsels with a volitan lion, porc puffer, clown and picasso trigger, snowflake eel, and a red coris wrasse.

What is the best lighting enclosure to have for a 32w retrofit? Can you build them out of wood? If so, can you set it on the glass and have a small fan in the hood? What kind of fan is the best and quietest to use?
