I put a nova extreme T5 light on our 46 gal. bowfront, 156 watts. It's a freshwater planted tank but it would work for softies. IMO

I've moved a couple of times with different tanks and for me it was best to take out and save as much water so as not to disturb the sand bed too much. You don't want the sand bed sloshing all over the place.

Go to Home Depot and get some aquamend. $3.00 It's a green and white two part epoxy that turns white when you rub it together. Eventually coralline will grow over it and you won't see the white. Just rub it together and stick your coral to a rock, no worries.

For me cheato helps control nitrate and lots of pods hang out/grow in there. Get yourself a good light for it and put it a reverse cycle or some leave it on 24/7.

It's good that we have options. Some people on other boards just think they own the place because of post count or whatever. I avoid that crap.
