I just bought a 20 gallon long and i would like to know what are some corals i can add to it no light yet but im trying to figure out what light to get based on what corals i can have in the tank

crushed coral is kinda a bad idea. some people like it but some hate it i prefer the finer live sand that u can get at your lfs i would say keep it since u already got it if u dont want to take it out and get the other stuff but idk u should wait for more opinions on the subject

ok change of post here. i found out the dimensions but now i might just use my old 20 gallon if i can find it i still need to know what type of light would be best for the corals i mentioned above

yeah and also another one of my problems is my stand ..i have no room for a sump or refugium so maybe what ill do is just upgrade my filter and find a skimmer . and ill fill one side of the filter with lr rubble and some cheato maybe and the other side just the normal filter pads that go in...

im not really new but i was recently reading The Conscientious Marine Aquarist to be specific the filtration section and it was saying that a hang on back external power filter is inferior for running a marine tank. Im only 17 and im kinda on a tight budget at the moment..but ive been saving up...

how far is the top of your water from the top of the pond rim? do u like have problems w/ the sharks splashing
