Pretty sure that those tanks would have tempered glass bottoms. I don't know of anyway to drill tempered glass.

I think we might have the same stuff, I was trying to describe it to my lfs to no avail but a pic is worth... well you know. Is this how yours looks? And if this is not what you have sorry I don't mean to hijack your thread.

I have an Eclipse 2 hood on my 25 high and had little problems running a FOWLR tank. The tank was pretty crowded back in '99 I didn't have as much knowledge on whats too many fish for the tank size but it handled it very well with little problems. I had: 2 True Percs 3 Blue Damsels 1 Lawnmower...
