    Why is it always like this?

    I am having similar issues. 54 gallon...60 lbs of LR... I have 12 turbo's...50 blue legs...and 8 nessarius snails. But just can't seem to keep the sand "clean" as I would think it should be. Any input would be appreciated. Is there any downfalls to using a UV Sterilizer in my reef tank???
