I pull the green out about once a month. Not all of it, but enough to see some rock again. It just grows right back. I don't mess with the pink or the fern, they take longer.

Sure, and then somebody figure out what a normal and fair price would be. I think fragging will be happening soon. They have gotten huge, and the hair algea is almost completely gone! My colt coral broke in to two pieces but is still not "happy". Maybe it will come around too!

I have no idea where you can buy it. It took me a month to be able to find it's name. When I get brave and decide to cut some off and try to grow it, I'll let you know!

ammonia-0 nitrate-0 nitrite-0 phosphate-0 ph-8.2 kh-11.8 Every thing we test is within the normal range. Kh is on the high end and we're doing water changes to bring that down. My guy at lfs says that we can still have phosphate, it's just that the algae is using it up so it doesn't show up on...

He does a good job, but he can't compete with the algae. He can clean a few inches a night, but within a day the whole tank is covered again. AND he's leaving little poops every where! They end up making a slime covering over what every they touch. Do I just keep vacuuming it up?

We are having a hair algae problem, our snails and crabs keep dying and we just got our protein skimmer last week. We are doing water changes ever other week. The colt coral has been sad now for two-three weeks. He does not fill with water and extend his arms like he used to. Any suggestions?

I don't have a picture because they are to flippin' fast! I know it is NOT a bristle worm... They are about one inch long. They are a pink color with a white band around the neck. They live in one of my life rocks, not the sand. They come out during the day. Any ideas???

So do you think if I "pluck" it off of my rock it would be okay? I mean would it still grow? Fragging won't be an issue, it seems to love my tank and is starting in new places every few days.
