Yep thanks for the tips! Last night I decided to hit the tank with the 1-2-3 punch. I raised the temp a bit and then very slowly through the night start to lower my salt levels. At last late late late last night through a very slow process got the salt down to 09. At that point I also very...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

It says dosing with copper... The question is what product? From the product... "It has all the advantages of copper sulfate and chelated copper, but not the disadvantages. Like copper sulfate, it is fully ionic and effective at low concentrations. The cupric (Cu+2) charge is fully active...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

Correct me if I am wrong however from what I have been reading on ONLY this product it claims to be safe for the filter bed so I would say it would be fine but I could be wrong. I use a skimmer and have live sand myself and thats one thing that stuck out to me was it said... "It does not damage...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

I agree. And thank you to everyone for all the advise. I do think that sooner or later somebody will find a solution to this issue that can be used on a complete reef without damage however it is clear to me that No-Ich is not that product. I am using Cupramine so I guess I did good there. :-)...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

No I do not have a UV sterlizer. I did some reading on that and it seems that it does help but still does not take care of it 100% as every one of the little suckers would need to pass through it however it would be good for better control. I did the big water change because my local pet store...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

Sorry been slacking on the posts. :-) Well to date the ich is still gone. On Sunday I did a huge water change. Its a 90gal tank with a 30gal sump and I changed 80gals of water. I then also added a bottle of Bio-Spira due to how big the water change was. I then treated the tank with another...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

LMAO.... Love the nanoprobes comment ;-) Well as of today no signs of Ich. It went as fast as it came. Again I can not say that it was the meds, garlic, both or nature but it seems to be gone... At least for now. I am not dosing today as the bottle said once you see the change then goto every...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

Good questions. Some of which I have no idea. Well tonight there is just about no more signs of Ich! Not sure if it was the No-Ich or nature but either way it is vanishing rapidly on all fish and the fish are acting very normal once again. The No-Ich says that once you notice the change to...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

Chastise you? I must not be seeing all you're posts. This is the first post I see by you? I was just stating that this threat was only to show the progress of the treatment I have selected to use and nothing more. Also my remarks were just stating the facts... There is a ton of information...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

All I run is a protien skimmer and you can not use this while using No-Ich as the skimmer will just remove it from the water. It does say if you really need to use a skimmer you can but them you needto double the amount you put in.

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

This is strictly to just note my progress with No-Ich and that's it. This type of thing seems to be a very heated item at times. That is one thing I have learned from trying to find the best way to treat ich. Day 2 afternoon.... I just dosed my tank again at around 5pm. I do still some...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

Well got up this morning and took a look at the fish to see if anything has changed. Now I did my first dose on Tuesday at around 5pm. This morning it was 6:30am when I checked to see if there has been any change. I am sad to say that I have not noticed a change yet. My fish are eating just...

    Tank with ich, testing No-Ich

So my main tank has somehow been nailed with ich. Seem to come from out of the blue. One minute my fish all are fine the next minute I see white dots all over one of them and on the others. So after a ton of reading and I do mean a ton I have decided to give this product by FishVet a try...

    S.O.S.!!! New Tank Syntrum Attack!

So I had a 90gal reef tank thats been running for about a year. I decided due to cost of keeping the reef going to let all my corals go and to change to a FOWLR. I have a trigger, a stars and stripes puffer, a yellow tang and a small baby lion fish. I also have some hermits that live in the...

    What kind of ray....

So I did have a reef tank for a bit and decided that I really enjoy fish only tanks more so I let all my corals go and converted my tank leaving the deep sand bed and rock. Now I have decided that I would really like to try a ray. The question is what kind? I have looked at the blue spot...
