Nah no k rating, the bulb reads 150(watt)/55(for the ballast)med(base). It doesnt have any blue spectrum to it, strictly a natural sun color

What is the best way to go about lighting up a regular 10 gallon tank for coral's, plants, etc.. I've been looking but not sure what will fit?? Do the hoods come complete???

Hasnt really caused any problems though. Its pretty cool looking , about 3 inches long so far and doesnt bother the fish, any reason to get rid of it? Came in on the live rock about a year ago.

Why and how can i stop my purple coraline from flaking off and sticking to my glass?

Used to have some freshwater stuff in my tank...eventually the paint will start flaking off. Salt water tanks look goofy w/freshwater ornaments in them in my opinion. Go with the natural look, especially w/a shark!
