Well, I've been observing my clowns behavior more closely and I'm noticing that they are simply trying out different corals to determine which ones they prefer. I've seen them both now on all three or four corals they seem to to like. Both seperately and together. Makes me think of Goldielocks...

Is it unusual for clowns to host different things? I've got a very young pair of clown, this juveniles and the male is hosting a coral and the female is hosting a featherduster. Is that a problem? Does it mean they're not a true pair yet?

I have them also on the back glass of my tank where it's the darkest. I believe they're called "spirorbis" and they are harmless. They're tiny calcareous worms, filter feeders and are very common in tanks that are doing well. Be glad you have them.

If it was releasing eggs that may explain why the fish were going nuts eating them. I could see it really up close and it was coming out of it's mouth(front) area. A little puff everytime the fish went by. So I wasn't sure what it was doing.

Just seen it. Just took it out. A slug like creature with two antenne that was sending up puffs of smoke. Whatever the stuff was the fish were eating it. Should I keep it or kill it?

Good question VSecret. I've lost three of my snail too and I don't understand it either. Do you have enough algae? The right kind of algae for them? Frankly, I'm not sure what kind of algae is best for them.
