ok. im getting a lot of algae right now but the tank is only 10 days old

i have a 96w 50/50 quad bulb retrofit kit that is PCs and a 65 actinic PC so total is 161w

thank you. what r some corals i shouldnt do becuz my lighting isnt good. what r some things i shoud stay away from?

can any one tell me some good bright corals i could put in here with the lighting i have?

these r bad pics becuz they r from my cell phone but they r just temporary.

the filter i have on there is an aqueon 10 with no carbon in it. i mainly use it for water movement up top and growing bacteria. i leave the back open in case i need it.i have 20 to 25 pounds of live rock. for movement i have 2 koralia ones that do 400GPH each.

ok i ended up not getting anything friday because i wasnt going straight home after but im most likely picking up a nice piece of acan. or maybe a purple digi. its a pretty good size im pretty excited!!!

those are really nice fish! pretty expensive too! my lfs has 2 of them in right now

ok so i have a quick question. does anyone on here live in or near columbus,OH? theres a guy who runs this green house that grows coral. ive been getting my coral from him. he has pretty much everything. im heading out there tomorrow cuz i want a new piece of coral but i dont know what to get...

ok...i got a question...im wondering if my candy cane is growing or if it is just living? i look at everyone elses and it looks like the skeleton? is showing through the coral tissue. does that mean there growing? mine are healthy and thick but there are no white lines. im not sure

the tank looks good man! i did a bare bottom too. do you like it better or do you like having the sand in there?

thanks stanlalee! ever since i got rid of all of that lace rock and got this, the tank just took off and everything is thriving. im so much happier with it now

my water quality is perfect so i guess ill just have to wait and see. its 3 diff polyps on the same frag. i have no idea where it came from cuz i dont remember putting it in there but who knows. im not comlaining. i just want to see what it looks like when it gets bigger

i just recently got those. about how long does it take for zoos to start growing and spreading? ive got 3 seperate polyps on this frag but they are tiny. im wondering about how long before the look like the frags i have now?

i was bored today and figured its been a few weeks since my last WC so i did a 2 1/2 gallon change today and i am waiting to see if it helps with the cup opening or not but its looking better

sweet zoos! the mushrooms look good too! its coming together nicely.
