Hi,
We have a 46 gallon live rock, coral and fish tank that has been running for 3 months now.
We are having a problem with this black stringy stuff taking over our live sand and live rock. Does anyone know what it is and how to control it?
Thanks for your help.

is what came up..it looks cool with the green center on live aquaria...
everywhere i read says bubble tips are best for clowns though?
i have a mated pair of clowns in my 14 biocube..i also have a magenta dottyback that hides all the time i was wondering what would be the best and easiest to care for anemone for my clowns?
this is the tank atm..two little frags on top of the rock(not open yet)
how hard would it be to make a custom 12x12x12 cube aquarium? could i just go to lowes or hd and buy 5 sheets for 12x12 glass and use silicone glue to put the togethor?
he has white spots...like his flesh is showing or something..i cant find my camera atm so i took that pic with my cell..he just stays at the bottom swimming in the corner..its not looking good..his face has like white pinkish blobs like he has a rash or something..
this is the second black clown that this has happened too..from different stores..
i couldnt see anything on it til i got it in the container today
i will post another pic soon..this one is blurry
he has white blobs all over him..
i have tried to feed him flakes and mysis but so far he hasnt...
My black clownfish has recently developed a pink spot..it looks to be some kind of rash..he has been hiding in caves all day? i tried to get him out of my 46 to put in my biocube but i couldnt net him..anyone know what could be wrong with him?

one of my books has the Green Brittle Star listed as a "fish killer" and it says not to buy one :o
