With the lights on and no heater, it's running about 72.

I just set up my new Biocube 29g HQI and I couldn't help but notice how little filtration is in it. As far as filtration, it has a protein skimmer, little sponge and a small carbon tray. Is this it? Is this all I really need?

That's what I thought until a guy at the lfs told me today that the reason for adding it to the tank is for food for the fish.

How many hrs per day does the light need to be on? What would you recommend for additional flow? Is there anything else that I need to assure the biocube will run at optimal level?
