So i purchased some algae wafers for my crabs/shrimp/goby and today I dropped one into my tank for the first time. Right when it came down my female tomato clown grabbed it and fed it to my BTA (her bta actually...). It seems to be digesting it fine so far, but im worried it might be a little...

Only the female goes in the bta. Will the male just stay out? She chases him away now that she has the anemone, but they used to stay together a lot.

I currently have a BTA under a coralife T5HO. Its about 10" down and seems to being doing well. I just got it recently, so ill keep you posted.

So after several different clownfish and anemones i have finally gotten my tomato to host my BTA!! I put the BTA in the tank and about 5 minutes later she was hosting it. The only problem was a peppermint shrimp that started to "clean" the BTA, but ended up just popping two of its bubbles...

PMed you. I definitely cant spend that much money on lights haha.

BTW the symbiosis between a cleaner shrimp and condy is pretty cool. Highly recommended!

Wow, thank you for the quick responses! So i wasnt planning on putting the condy in the new tank (since it wont be cycled), so im thinking im just going to return the condy/cleaner shrimp and use the money towards a new light. Ill be going to the LFS sometime soon to start scouting for this...

CL as in coralife? Also a few other questions. Ill be making the move today.   Can i remove my condy from my rock without damaging it?   I will be putting absolutely all new water into my new tank, so what would happen if i put my LR that has already been in my previous tank into my new one...
