well my tank is still at 4 ppm for the nitrates, do i need to wait till it reaches 0 before i add my clean up crew?

well that sucks but i guess i wont go and have to spend $40 on one. On my live rock i found a 3 inch im guessing either bristle worm or fire worm and then i saw at least 5 smaller ones, any ideas on how i can get rid of them?

well do you think if i leave the light where it's at i might be able to put a derasa clam?

ok these first two pics are with the Par 38 led bulb on the next two pics i decided to put my old light and my new one togther that way the whole tank would be lit up the par 38 bulb is on the left and the old light is on the right and this is with the par 38 bulb at completely white this is...

i have class tonight but i'll put a pic of it up tomorrow so everyone can see

i just got my light bulb in but i still have to wait before i add any corals so that sucks

ok i tested my water and the ph was at 8.2 and the ammonia and nitrites were at 0, but the nitrates were at 4ppm. Do i have to wait till the nitrates reach 0 before i add my cuc?

well i got my test kit so when i get home tonight i will get to finally test my water and if i can i will post the results

thanks and what do you think would be good for my clean up crew?

yea im pretty excited and hopefully my test gets in sooner than wednesday so i can start testing my water, the tank has been going for a week now do you think i should do a small water change or should i jus leave it alone

well i couldn't wait for the light so i went ahead and ordered it and it should be coming sometime at the beginning of next week.

well i got my test kit ordered and it should arrive about wednesday so im excited about that and man my water is looking really clear, it also looks like i have a coulple of little feather dusters on my rock

alright well thanks for the advice i might just have to get one and today i will be ordering my test kit so i can start testing my tank next week

thank you for the links, im gona have to wait till friday before i can order one but at least i will have it by next week. do you have any suggestions as far as getting a stronger light so maybe i can keep different corals?

ok thanks for the advice i'll make sure to get some of that stuff and the LFS said they would get more test kits so when i go back the weekend i'll just get one that day

well i went to my LFS but they didnt have any ammonia test kits because they said they sold out but they did tell me to just bring in a sample of water next time and they will test my ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites for me so that'll be nice. it looks like i have a couple of aiptasia starting to...
