I still find it hard to believe that a 4" yellow tang would totally disappear overnight, with just a "few' hermit crabs.

Did you look the floor? It's very unlikely that a CBS will devour 3 yellow tangs overnight. Maybe he's hiding them in a rock cave?

I've had the same problem with them. Their customer service is second to none, but that policy of not allowing credits if they are running any kind of promotion has bugged me for years. Maybe if enough people mention it they might change. Don't think for a minute that they don't read these boards.

For what it's worth: I go away for a month every year and leave my son-in-law in charge. When I leave I make sure everything is perfect. I leave him 50 gallons of top-off water and 8-10 little plastic containers of food. He comes over every 3-4 days, tops off, feeds and leaves. I've been doing...

Hi, Substrate in refugium is about 2-2 1/2". Nutrient level is good- I dose a drop or 2 of iron maybe once a week. Macro algae grows like a weed in there. I'll give them some time. Thanks P.S. It's lit 16 hours a day.
