    Chicago Area Stores

I agree that that place is the best place to go if you want to look, but their prices are outrageous! I've never seen an pet store more expensive in all of my travels.

    Chicago Area Stores

The best ones that I have run into are Advanced Aquatics in Schaumburg on roselle rd., Beyond the Reef in Schaumburg. There are some others, but they either have a small selection or are outrageously priced. These places won't be the cheapest, but have nice corals and clean tanks.

    Painting canopy

Are you looking to stain the wood and polyurethane it or are you wanting to just paint it? If you are going with paint I would get a good acrylic enamel. If you don't get an enamel you will have problems with the moisture destroying the paint. It will end up being a semi-gloss or gloss sheen...

    Feeding the fish

I personaly believe that you should only feed your tank every other day. I think feeding twice a day is excessive and will only lead to nitrate problems.

    Next Coral!!!!

Just about any kind of leather is fairly easy to care for. I like yellow toadstool leathers. That will add a little color to your tank.

Ever hear of a calcium dripper?

It actually isn't all that complicated at all. The only thing tricky about it is messing around to find the right mixture for your system. I really didn't find that all too tough to figure out though. Kent makes a dripper that you can buy, but I know it probably wouldn't be all that complicated...

Looking for a goby who can help?

I know which goby you mean, but I can't remember the name. The diamond gobies are good for cleaning the sand though.

    Serpent Star

It sure will! Since they are nocturnal animals you won't see them out much. Mine comes out to feed and that's about it. Sometimes in the morning he will still be out front before the lights come on.

    looking for an anenome substatute

It seems that people have the most success with Toadstool Leathers. I know that clowns have adapted to other coral hosts though. I've read anything from ricordea shrooms to frogspans. I didn't see what kind of lighting you have, but you better make sure your tank is capable of corals alive. It...

When can I add these fish?

I would say you would definately have to get rid of the two damsels. Then you could add the other two fish. I would say that many people would say that two is your max bioload, but definetly no more than three.

When can I add these fish?

That's assuming that your tank is cycled of course!

    Do choc. chip stars eat...

Yes, chocolate chip stars are carnivores and will eat anything they can get their hands on. You are usually safe going with either a serpant star or a brittle star. I have both in my reef with absolutely no problems.
