They look pretty normal to me. How along ago did you put them in your tank? They are still aclimating to your lights and it might take a few days for all the polyps to fully open up. If all of them aren't open after a week, I would say that you might have a pest eating them. A nudi or a sun...

glad you guys like my DIY canopy! Saved around 70 dollars by doing it myself. They cost about 110 at the store, and arent even as good as the one i made. got some more stuff in yesterday to the tank. will have pics later tonight!

I ran out of screws, so I have to finish tomorrow. I painted all 3 pieces black, and ended up getting a thin pice for the top cover, but didn't get enough screws when I was at Home Depot. I mounted small pieces of wood to the inside of each board, so that it can sit on top of the tank as you can...

My canopy build!!! Before shot: Heres what I am using, just an 8 ft. piece of wood and some black paint (not the spray paint you see in the picture) to coat it after its finished:
