I read something about maybe adding RO Right to raise the PH? Is this necessary?

A friend gave me a brand new Carolife Pure-Flo II 50 gallons per day filter. It's look fairly simple to hook up but my question is do I need to add anything else to the water besides salt when I do my water changes? I have a 75gal FOWLR. Thank you.

I recently read I should use two heaters instead oft one. I currently have a 250watt Eheim Jager but it's over 10 years old so I was thinking about replacing it and adding another one. Are two 100 watt Eheim Jager heaters good enough for a 75gal?

I keep reading these strong opinions about you shouldn't put certain fish in smaller tanks because of their growth potential. I guess I'm wondering what is wrong with keeping these fish before they get to that point?
