I have had a squamosa clam since 4/11/02 with 2 96 watt pc's in my 50 gallon. It seems to be very happy on the bottom of the tank. Is growing and has good color. I read these clams don't require as much light.

My QT tank is now empty. Last of the critters went into the MT. I was wondering what I should do other than adding water for evaporation. Keep adding B-Ionic, water changes, alittle food ? Sorry about the caps in my name, I can't figure out how to get rid of them. Thanks.

I have a larger hermit that has eaten several of my feather dusters. I have also seen some of the blue legged eating them. I finally had to give up on having any fd's.

I am interested in getting a Psychedelic Mandarin, and don't know if I have copepods. My reef aquarium has been running for 8 months. My reference books say the mandarin won't live without enough copepods, but they don't say how to tell if I have them. Your help will be greatly appreciated...

If in doubt about the aptasia, get a couple Peppermint shrimps. They eat the aptasia, and they are interesting tank mates.

I have two hermit crabs with shells about 1" to 1 1/2". One of the crabs likes to eat my feather dusters. Is this a common problem?

You guys could be right. Maybe my quarantine tank has not cycled. Should I wait awhile? Why would my marine supply store say my water quality is ok? Could I put some harty damssels in?
