hm where do you buy your lighting from?

hm I have pcs in my 46 and i never really got too much :-/ what are your nano specs / lighting specs this question is actually for my future nano tank

Does anyone know the best setup for a new tank to get as much coraline algae as possible? I have seen pictures of new tanks whos live rock is practically covered in purple and green.

my puffer is extremely small though (only like 1.5 inches)... u said it will only be a matter of time.. does it depend on how big it is?

My tang wont stop biting my featherduster. I have him buried in the sandbed but no matter how deep i bury him and try to conceal the 'tube' he always pokes it out. Im worried because the tang has been nippinng at the tube for quite some time and i dont want it to rip :(

Are they compatable with reefs? I know my guy doesnt eat corals because the tank i got him from also had corals in it but will he munch on my featherduster / hermits and snails? any responses appreciated

except im pretty sure its not sperm but actual fertalized gamates.

hmm i looked into this a while back and if i remember the stringy slime that floats from corals are gametes or spermadies i cant remember which one, but thats how corals spread. the strings of gametes attatch to protein and float away landing somewhere else, kind of like seeds on a dandelion...

i recently bought a feather duster (not sure if its a tube worm or feather duster actually)... its a long brown tube with a wormlike creature in it. It looked fine in the pet shop but it hasnt opened since i put it in my tank (7 hrs). Whats going on with it? Where am i supposed to place it...

i woke up to find my blenny lying on its side. it is discolored and does not move much, but it is still alive. its breathing a little faster than usual and is slightly discolored, also he seems to be VERY skinny. i admit to not feeding them for the past 3 days, but i doubt that is the problem...

Is it true that it grows faster with lower lighting? What is the best method for growing coralline?
