I have not seen my tube worm out now for about two weeks, is it dead or alive, how do i tell. It used to come out all of the time.

Help!! I just wole up this morning to find my tube worms "head" on the floor of my tank!!! Does this mean it is dead???? How do I know if it is alive or not?

Mine does this every two weeks or so!! I also thought the same thing, I thought my green brittle star got him, but doing great and VERY active...

check out seahorseworld.com, they are aqua land out of FL, I have ordered from them for the last two years, my pipefish just gave birth too about 40 babies(hard to count all of them), and one of my sixteen horses is due enyday now. Yes it is a lot of work, w/hatching, and feeding and such, but...

If it were human size that is how I would wxplain it. He has a lot of black things stuck to his sides. he is actting ok, but overnight has developed thiss prob.???:confused:

They seem too be on both sides of his body, very small, and they look like they are attached to him, not like a dot that would be flat on the skin. Its hard to look at him threw a magnifine glass he wont hold stiil, kind of like my two boys!!!!

My yellow tang, which I have had for a while, and nothing new in tank, seems to have some type of black dots on him. They look like things that are stuck on him??? He seems to be fine eating well, and such! Help????

My 30gal. reef tankhas been up and running for over one month now. I have seen brown coloring on my LR, and now some on the sand floor. I also saw that my pink tip anemone is also some what turning brownish in color. I have well water. HELP...
