    I plan on getting a new lighting system that consists of 3 or 4 75 watt bulbs on a 29 gal. Is this enough to have clams or would I have to go all out on matel halide.

    This may sound whacked but I am wondering if snails are legal in maine. My tank walls are over grown in algae and I want to get some but someone told me that snails are not legal in maine is that right.
