    The best hang on skimmer?

I also had the remora pro with the prefilter box. That thing was incredibly efficient. Excellent skimmer!

can i use aquaC remora in-sump?

The "downside" is asthetics. I just looks kind of ghetto. When I give "the tour" people always seem to want to see my full setup. I try to keep everything showable.

can i use aquaC remora in-sump?

I don't know if you're getting the prefilter box or not but that was the biggest thing I lost when I put it in the sump. It just wouldn't fit. The only other downside is that you'll have a device hanging off the side of your sump. I did end up going to an in-sump skimmer just for the greater...

    yes, moonlights again...

If you have a hood you can build them into it. That's what I did. Worked like a charm.

red sea prizm vs seaclone protein skimmer

I had a prism and it didn't do a very good job. I replaced it with a Remora pro which was incredible by comparison.

    OK I quit!!!

I had the same problem ... It took me a long time to get a handle on things. In the end the 2 things got it under control. A.) Water changes with RO/DI water B.) Upgrading my protein skimmer. Upgrading the proteing skimmer made a HUGE difference. Within 2-3 months my phosphate are no longer...

    turbo calcium users

Just curious what methods you all were using to add this to your tanks. I was planning on giving this stuff a try for a one time calcium level raise. Thanks, Dan

    pvc glue?

I'm getting ready to do the plumbing for my sump and I was curious if there is anything special (brand or type) I should be using to bond the pvc together or will the standard stuff do? Introducing chemicals to the aquarium always frightens me! Thanks, Dan

    Strange thought about water changes??

I would also venture a guess that you aren't replenishing trace elements present in salt mix when you don't do water changes ... That is unless you are dosing.

    Emerald crab issues

I had a similar problem I narrowed it down to the food ( or maybe like 80% sure ) .. I got five emeralds this time around and one of them I saw grab a shrimp pellet and he was belly up the next day. So I stopped using those and I have been fine ever since then. Although keep in mind that's...
