I have a 135 with sand substrate.Tank reads as follows: ph-8.2 am-.25 nitrite-0 nitrate-off the scale Anyone have any ideas on what would cause this?How would I go about fixing it? There is only 1 fish in the tank.Please help.

The wet dry may be better but my experience with the aqua clear is just so much better.I am also alot more familiar with the 500 then the wet dry.
